The Company hereby announces that on February 4, 2008, its subsidiary, Makhteshim Chemical Manufacturers ("Makhteshim") received a notice regarding declaration of labor dispute and work interruption from the General Workers Union - the Negev District, relating to Makhteshim's plant in Be'er Sheva.

Makhteshim will act to invalidate the declaration including by way of applying to the Labor Court.
